Our Qualifications

Stephen has been dedicated to providing exceptional service to his clients since entering the finance world in 1965. He is a Registered Investment Advisor in the State of Nevada, lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has been  continuously active in the investment world since 1965. Prior to that time he was a Vietnam Era Veteran  with the United States Marine Corps, (VMA-214, the "Black Sheep" Squadron), (Pappy Boyington's Squadron) during the Vietnam Era.  VMA-214 was an attack squadron of A-4B's attached to Marine Aircraft Group-13, 1st Marine Brigade, Fleet Marine Force, Pacific, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.  In 1964 he was recommended for the honor of Marine of the Year.  Upon being Honorably Discharged from the Marine Corps, Steve completed his BA degree at California State University, Sacramento.  During his University years, he was the California State University Representative to the Governor's Press Conference at the Capitol in Sacramento, California.  Each Friday he would attend the Governor's Press Conference, record it, and send it to the California University Campuses.  Governor Ronald Reagan was the Governor of California during that period.  Steve truly loved Governor Reagan and then President Reagan.  After University, he was appointed as a Chaplain to the State of California Prison system in Susanville, California, a medium security prison.  Stephen is a member of  the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, and Steve and Linda renewed their vows with Dr. Robert Schuller, Founder, and Senior Pastor of the Crystal Cathedral.  Steve  has maintained philanthropic affiliations of which include, the California State University Business Alumni Association.  Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998,  Steve and his wife Linda owned a Registered Investment firm..While Steve was the CEO of the investment advisory firm, he was also a reserve deputy with the Butte County Sheriff's office as an aviation deputy flying a Cessna 172 for the department drug operations.   Steve being a veteran himself ,is an advocate of Veterans Affairs, and is involved with helping Veterans  and their widows to acquire Improved Pension Benefits, if qualified.  . Steve also had a famous  radio show here in Las Vegas "LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR MONEY."  Steve is a Shriner (Shriners Hospitals for Children) and is a Past Potentate of Zelzah Shriners of Las Vegas in 2005. Because of his affiliation as Potentate, he is the President of  the BRAT PACK,   a group of Shriners who were Potentates in 2005.  He has been active as a member of the Board of Governors of the Shriners Hospital in Los Angeles, California.  He is a member of Aloha Court #1, Royal Order of Jesters, Honolulu, Hawaii.    York Rite Mason,  Marine Corps League, Marines Memorial Association of San Francisco, Vietnam Veterans of America, American Legion, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), similar to the DAR.  Steve was Founding Director of Bank of Paradise, and served as Vice-Chairman of the Board, which was later sold to Wells Fargo Bank  at a substantial profit.  He was Chairman for George Herbert Walker Bush for President of the United States in 1988, in Butte County, California.  They were invited and attended the Inaugural Ball in Washington, DC at Kennedy Center.

Steve is a private pilot and enjoys flying with his family.  Linda and Stephen enjoy their four grown children and nine beautiful grandchildren, Becky, James, Braeden, Alden, Logan, Pierce, Kate and Lilia, and Nicholas (8+1).
